411 network, BBB, trade-specific (Angi, HomeAdvisor, HomeStars). Chambers and local directories.

Tier 4–5 · Volume + cleanup
Long-tail directories and aggregator cleanup. Lowest impact but the hygiene that prevents NAP drift.

Monthly workflow
- Week 1: Submit 5–8 Tier 2/3 citations.
- Week 2: Audit existing citations for NAP consistency.
- Week 3: Cleanup — duplicates, wrong addresses, orphaned profiles.
- Week 4: Reporting — what got built, what got cleaned, what moved.
What it doesn't do
Citations alone won't lift you out of the local pack. They're hygiene + foundation. Reviews + relevance + proximity drive movement. Citations make sure you're eligible to move at all.
